The Syntropic Design Process
Workbook

LEARN + APPLY SYNTROPIC DESIGN AT YOUR OWN PACE

Learn to design the way Nature does— and build Coherence into everything you’re making.

A Regenerative / Whole-Systems Design Process, in your hands.

This Workbook is the same framework Syntropia uses with clients — distilled into a self-guided tool you can apply at your own pace to your own business, organization, land, or project.

It’s grounded in the 7 domains of whole-systems design, the 12 permaculture design principles, and the universal laws and patterns that govern all of Nature. You will learn how Nature works as you design your project!

What it does

  • Illuminates where energy is flowing, stuck and leaking in your current setup
  • Maps your project across all seven domains, so you can clearly see what’s working and what needs attention
  • Applies the twelve regenerative design principles as a structural check at each phase
  • Produces a clear strategy at the end — and a sequence you can implement starting immediately

This is a complete process — sequenced, cumulative, and designed to move you from diagnosis to a strategy you can actually act on.

Who it’s for

Founders, Creators, Entrepreneurs. Businesses navigating growth in a rapidly changing world. Land projects and retreat centers designing for long-term resilience. Community leaders and organizers building something that brings many elements together. Anyone who wants to think in terms of regenerative whole-systems design.

Eleven Phases. Self-Guided.
Digital PDF.

No — this is self-guided. The workbook contains the same process we use with clients, written so you can run it yourself. If you want us in the room with you, that’s what the Strategic Design Session and deeper engagements are for.

As long as you need. There’s no deadline and no expiry — work through all eleven phases in a week or return to it over months as your project evolves.

No. You need a real project and the willingness to look at it clearly. The principles and pattern library are explained as you go.

Both, and community projects too. The seven domains, twelve principles and universal laws are — universal, they hold whether you’re designing a landscape, an organization, or anything else between the two.

Move on and come back. The phases build on each other, but the workbook is yours to use non-linearly if that serves your process better.

Yes. Some clients complete the workbook first and bring their transition strategy into a Strategic Design Session; others start there and use the workbook afterward to keep the work moving.
